At First Presbyterian Church of Upland we minister to each other, as members, and we reach out to the entire community. We believe, as the Bible says in Galatians 6:2, that we are to "bear one another¹s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ."

As a core value, we believe lost people matter to God and therefore they matter to our ministries of evangelistic outreach. Also, we believe in promoting an environment for intentional Christian maturity in fellowship through such means as stewardship, study, service and small-group ministry.

Members of all ages minister to the poor, support the weak, aid the afflicted, and work to help reduce violence in our city. We also offer a comprehensive program of care, counseling, and support for its members and the community. Our aim is to show the love of Jesus Christ and the comfort and hope of the Holy Spirit in daily living and in times of crisis in personal and communal life.
